Shelton Farmers Market Cancels Winter Sessions SHELTON, Conn. — The organizers of the Shelton Farmers Market have decided to cancel the winter farmers market on Canal Street. The market used to run on the first Saturday of each month during the winter. Organizers cited “multiple reasons” for the cancellation of the market, which offered fresh vegetables, meats, baked goods and more. “We apologize for this but we hope to see you all in April!!” the group wrote on the market’s Facebook page.
