At 6:03 p.m., officers responded to Hance Bridge Road at the intersection with Pennsylvania Avenue after a 2022 Dodge Ram pickup truck, traveling northbound on Hance Bridge Road, struck a 2023 red Ford Maverick that failed to stop at the stop sign on Pennsylvania Avenue while traveling eastbound, Vineland police said. At 12:37 a.m., officers responded to a nearby hospital on a report of a gunshot victim in the emergency room, Trenton police said. The victim was being treated for three gunshot wounds to his right flank area after a shooting on the 600 block of Hoffman Avenue just after midnight, police said. The Mercer County Shooting Response Team is investigating the incident, police said.

Rockaway Man ID’d As Victim In Route 80 Crash: Njsp A 71-year-old Rockaway man was killed in a single-car crash on Route 80 on Sunday, June 8, authorities said. At 9:18 a.m., a Kia Sportage driven by Jon Defalco was traveling westbound on Route 80 in Parsippany-Troy Hills when it veered off the roadway to the right and struck a guardrail, causing the vehicle to overturn, Jeffrey Lebron, a spokesman for New Jersey State Police said. Defalco was pronounced dead at the scene, Lebron said. The crash remains under investigation, Lebron said.
