Bald Eagle Struck On Highway Rescued By Pennsylvania State Police Troopers Two Pennsylvania State Police Troopers went on a rescue mission for a special bird. Troopers Alex Ebbert and Emilio Rizzo were called to a report of a bald eagle struck on Route 422 in Greenwood Township, Perry County on Sunday around 11 a.m., according to PSP.  They arrived to find that the bird suffered from an injured wing after being hit by a car.  "Trooper Ebbert used his cruiser jacket to wrap the bird for secure transport," state police stated in a release. "They met PA Game Commission personnel at PSP Newport, who took the eagle for rehabilitation."

Over 94,000 PPL customers in Central Pennsylvania are without power. The majority of the outages are in Dauphin, Schuylkill, and Lebanon counties, according to PPL's map. Two Officers Hospitalized After Crash Heading To Call: Philadelphia Police Two Philadelphia officers were struck by a private vehicle on their way to a call, police announced on Monday night.  The patrol vehicle was struck at the intersection of 16th Street and Norris Street in the 22nd District at approximately 8:29 p.m. on Feb. 12, the police explained in a release about an hour later.  The two officers inside were taken to Temple Hospital by Medic 13. They suffered minor injuries and "are expected to be treated and released," the police said.  No one else suffered any injuries.
