Most Wanted: Child Beater Sought By Police In PA A man who pleaded guilty to aggravated assault of his child is wanted by the police. Joseph Allen Hafner violated the terms of his probation in 2021, court records show. A warrant was issued by the Adams County Sheriff's Office on June 14, 2023. Hafner beat his child, who was less than 6 years old in Sept. 2017, according to court dockets. He pleaded guilty to the related charges in Oct. 2019. Double Homicide Victims ID'd, PA State Police Say Two people who were killed, in what Pennsylvania State Police believe is a double homicide, have been identified on Thursday, June 15, 2023. Gloria B. Hardy, 78, and John S. Burdge, 90, both residents of 118390 Route 35 South in Tuscarora Township (Juniata County), were found dead in their home around 11 p.m. on Sunday, June 11, 2023, the police said.
