East Orange Man Busted For Secaucus Home Invasion: Police A 21-year-old East Orange man was arrested and charged on Thursday, May 29 with committing a home invasion in Secaucus in February, authorities said. On Wednesday, Feb. 5 at 2:51 a.m., officers responded to a report of a burglary at the 200 block of Grace Avenue, Secaucus police said. The homeowner told police she was sleeping, but called officers when she heard someone inside her home, police said. Ocean County Verizon Salesman Who Stabbed Man In Neck Learns Fate: Prosecutor A 35-year-old Verizon door-to-door salesman was sentenced to 20 years in prison after being convicted of stabbing a man in the neck in 2022 in Ocean County, authorities said. Michael Tsamas, a Laurence Harbor resident, was previously found guilty of aggravated manslaughter in the death of Joseph Delgardio, a 44-year-old Jackson Township resident, Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley Billhimer said. Person Critically Injured In Union Twp Crash That Injured Three: Police Three people sustained serious injuries in a crash in Union, early Thursday, May 29, authorities said. At 6:22 a.m., a red Acura MDX traveling east on Morris Avenue veered into the westbound lanes and struck a red Volkswagen Jetta, Union Township police said. Newark Man Pleads Guilty To Robbing Mailman at Gunpoint: Feds A 29-year-old Newark man pleaded guilty on Tuesday, May 27 to robbing a postal worker at gunpoint last November, authorities said. In November 2023, Troy Corbett was one of four people who stole the victim's cell phone, keys and wallet, containing a credit card and debit card, U.S. Attorney Alina Habba said. Egg Harbor Township Motorcyclist Killed In Crash: Township Of Hamilton PD A 71-year-old Egg Harbor Township man was killed in a crash on Monday, May 26, in the Township of Hamilton, authorities said.
