First Cannabis Union Contract Ratified In CT: 'Huge Milestone For Industry' Workers at a marijuana manufacturer in Connecticut have made history by voting to ratify the first union cannabis contract in the state. Drunk Driver From Westchester Charged After Crashing Into Victim In Region: Police A Westchester man faces felony charges after crashing into a man while he was walking in a crosswalk on a New York roadway, leaving them critically injured, police announced. Drunk Driver Nabbed After Striking Guard Rail, Fleeing Scene In Wilton: Police A 47-year-old woman faces several charges after crashing into a guard rail in Fairfield County while drunk and driving away from the scene before eventually being caught, police announced. The incident happened on Wednesday, Dec. 20 around 9:30 p.m., when a 1998 Chevrolet Suburban driven by Ridgefield resident Paula Carter, age 47, was traveling north on Danbury Road by the intersection with Olmstead Hill Road in Wilton and struck a guardrail, according to Wilton Police. 2 People Hospitalized After Tree Falls On Occupied Car In Cortlandt Two people were hospitalized after a large tree fell on an occupied vehicle in Northern Westchester and caused severe damage. The incident happened in Cortlandt on Friday, Dec. 29 just after 1 p.m., when members of the Croton-on-Hudson Fire Department were sent to Mount Airy Road West, where a tree had fallen on a car.
