'Suspicious Death' Under Investigation In Yorktown: No Danger, Police Say A suspicious death is currently under investigation in Northern Westchester, police said. Covid-19: Hudson Valley School District Asks Hochul Not To Mandate Vaccine For Students A school district in the Hudson Valley has sent a letter to New York Gov. Kathy Hochul asking her not to mandate the COVID-19 vaccine for public school students. Assault: Man Pulls Victim's Hair, Shoves Her Into Bush In Yorktown, Police Say A man from Northern Westchester is facing assault charges after allegedly pushing a victim into a bush and hurting them. The incident happened in Yorktown on Tuesday, Jan. 10 around 7:30 a.m. when police responded to a home on Springhurst Street for a reported assault, according to Yorktown Police. Pinned Under Tractor-Trailer: Man Dead After Crash On I-84, CT State Police Say Police are looking for witnesses after a man was pinned under a tractor-trailer on Interstate 84 in Connecticut and killed.
