The credit cards were in a purse that was stolen in Columbia County from La Bella’s Restaurant in Valatie in September 2022, according to State Police. Officers in New Cassel stopped a Dodge Charger at around 9:20 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 29, near Prospect and Magnolia avenues due to a suspended registration, according to Nassau County Police. While speaking with the driver, a man in the passenger seat, 38-year-old Ishmel Cohen, of Brooklyn, began acting suspiciously and officers asked him to exit the vehicle. Emergency crews in Saratoga County were called at around 9 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 28, with reports that a man had fallen from a tree in the Town of Wilton on Mt. McGregor Road, according to the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office.
