Westchester Man Among Trio Nabbed In $701K Fraud Scheme, Feds Say Three men are facing federal charges for allegedly using other people’s identities to defraud the New York Labor Department out of hundreds of thousands of dollars. Errol Murray, age 21, of Yonkers; Taliek Lanier, age 22, of Albany; and Thomas Brace, age 61, of Altoona, Pennsylvania, formerly of Albany, were all arrested on federal charges of mail and wire fraud, plus identity theft. Suspect With Criminal History Nabbed For Smash-Grab Burglary At Hudson Valley Store, Police Say A man with a history of smashing his way into Hudson Valley businesses is once again behind bars for allegedly breaking into a smoke shop. In Ulster County, police in Saugerties were called at around 7:30 a.m. Monday, Aug. 29, with reports of a commercial burglar alarm at the Smokers Choice store, located on Ulster Avenue. State Police Announce Times, Locations For Labor Day Weekend DUI/Sobriety Checkpoints As drivers gear up for the long Labor Day weekend, Connecticut State Police are increasing patrols to catch drunk, impaired, and reckless drivers. Capital District Woman Nabbed 2 Years After Stealing Rental Car, Police Say A woman from the region is facing charges, nearly two years after she allegedly stole a rental car from Georgia, authorities said. State police in Washington County spotted the vehicle shortly before 3:30 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 31, on Main Street in Kingsbury. Police Seek Suspect Caught On Video Stealing Woman's Wallet At Yorktown Store Police are asking for the public’s help identifying a man who allegedly stole a woman’s wallet from a store in the region.
