Lehigh Woman Dies Days After Being Struck By Car In Macungie An 88-year-old Lehigh County woman died days after being struck by a car in Macungie, authorities said. Sonia D. Bowyer, of Lower Macungie, was crossing the street near Donegal Drive and Village Lane when she was struck by the car around 5:30 p.m. on Friday, according to the Lehigh County District Attorney's Office. Newark Man Fires Shots Into Air, Flees From Police In Stolen Car, Authorities Say A Newark man who police say fired shots into the air and fled from officers in a stolen car was arrested Monday. Officers spotted Rodney Burch, 28, standing outside a black Nissan Sentra, raising a firearm, and firing multiple rounds into the air just before 3:40 a.m. Monday, according to Newark Public Safety Director Brian A. Repeat Tire Thief Busted At Berks Car Dealership, Police Say A Berks County man isn't exactly having a Goodyear. Theodore J. Puc Jr., 41, was in the middle of removing tires from an Audi at the Audi/Volkswagen car dealership in Leesport on Aug. 22 when officers spotted him, according to the Bern Township Police Department. Jersey Shore Man Admits Stabbing Victim Dead During Argument A New Jersey man admitted to stabbing another man to death during an argument at an Ocean County home over three years ago, authorities said.
