DEP Investigating Bad-Tasting Water In Chester, Montgomery Counties The Department of Environmental Protection is investigating complaints of bad-tasting water in Chester and Montgomery counties. Last week, residents in Pottstown, West Pottsgrove, Lower Pottsgrove, and Spring City began complaining about the taste of the water, WFMZ reports citing the DEP. Drunken Man, High On Meth Charged In Chester County Burglaries, Police Say A man who police say was drunk and high on methamphetamine when he broke into homes in Chester County was arrested last week. Officers were told someone tried to break into a home in the 200 block of West Harmony Road in West Grove around 11:30 p.m. on July 4, according to the Southern Chester County Regional Police Department. $10K Reward Offered In Deadly Berks County Home Invasion Authorities in Berks County are offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to an arrest in connection with a deadly home invasion in Wyomissing in 2019. Na'il Salamov, 37, was at his Birchwood Road house with his two sons when he was shot by home invaders on May 6, 2019, according to the Wyomissing Police Department and Berks County District Attorney's office. West Goshen PD Arrest ChesCo Man Accused Of Stalking, Filming Woman Police in Chester County have arrested a man who they say stalked and recorded a woman for around a year in West Goshen. Abbas Rahbari, 61, of West Chester, was arrested after a woman told police on Wednesday he would continuously follow and film her on multiple occasions from July 20, 2020, to July 14, 2021, according to the West Goshen Police Department. Details Released In I-78 Tractor-Trailer Leak In Lehigh County County officials released more details regarding a tractor-trailer that leaked an "unknown liquid" onto I-78 in Lehigh County last week. 2 Drivers Hospitalized In Multi-Car Crash In Reading Two drivers were hospitalized in a multi-vehicle crash last week in Reading, authorities said. Crews were dispatched around 5:45 a.m. on July 9 to South 6th and Cherry Streets to find one car on its side with the driver trapped, according to the Reading Fire Department. Hydraulic rescue tools were used to stabilize the car and safely extricate the trapped driver by 6:11 a.m., authorities said. Both drivers were taken by EMS to an area hospital for medical treatment.
