Motorcyclist, 24, Killed In Falls Township Crash Was Speeding On Brand New Bike, Police Say Authorities have identified the motorcyclist killed in Monday's crash as a 24-year-old Florida man. Blake Anthony Sims was traveling at an extremely high rate of speed when his hat flew off on Millcreek Road at Willow Driver just before 1:20 p.m., Falls Township Police Chief Nelson E. Reading Police Probe Pair Of Shootings That Left Man Dead, Woman Injured Reading police are investigating a pair of shootings that left one man dead and a 22-year-old woman injured in less than 24 hours, according to a recent news report. The man was found around 7:45 p.m., Monday night at South Seventh and Pine Streets, WFMZ reports citing local police. The details of the shooting were not immediately known. Fire Damages Delaware County Home Several fire companies responded to a house fire Tuesday morning in Sharon Hill (Delaware County). The blaze broke out at a Woodland Avenue home on the second floor around 10:45 a.m. and was under control in approximately one hour, fire crews told Daily Voice. No injuries were reported but there were several rooms damaged by the flames, Folcroft fire officials said.

Driver Freed From Overturned Car In West Chester A driver was freed after their car overturned early Monday morning in West Chester, authorities said. The car reportedly overturned in the area of South New Street and West Rosedale Avenue around 3:15 a.m., according to West Chester Fire Department. The driver -- who was alone in the car -- was freed from the vehicle and sent to an area hospital in unknown condition. It was not immediately known how the car overturned. Local authorities did not immediately respond to Daily Voice's request for more information.

Winner: Pennsylvania Lottery Ticket Good For $150K Sold In Montgomery County A Pennsylvania lottery ticket worth $150,000 was sold in Montgomery County. The Powerball with Power Play ticket from the Saturday, May 8 drawing was sold at Steppy’s Sports Bar & Grill on Swede Road in East Norriton. The ticket matched four of the five white balls drawn, 12-17-20-21-26, and the red Powerball 8 to win $150,000. The retailer will receive a $500 bonus for selling the winning ticket.

1 Driver Extricated In Multi-Car Crash At Norristown Intersection One driver was extricated from their car following a multi-vehicle crash at a Norristown intersection Monday afternoon, authorities said. Police, fire, and rescue units responded to the scene of the crash at the intersection of Markley Street and West Main Street around noon, according to Norristown Fire Department. West Chester DUI Driver Had 5 Children In Car During Crash, Police Say A West Chester driver was apprehended over the weekend after police say she was under the influence with five children in her car when she struck another vehicle. Officers found Kimberly Fahy, 38, impaired when they responded to the 300 block of West Biddle Street on a report of a crash around 8:35 p.m. Saturday, West Chester police said. West Chester Native, Georgia Grab Dies After 'Hard Fought' Battle With Cancer, 23 West Chester native, Georgia Reagan Grab died after a "hard-fought" battle with bile duct cancer on May 3. She was 23. Grab attended Henderson High School in West Chester, and later earned a bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Delaware in 2020, according to her obituary.
