Upland Police Traffic Stop Finds DelCo Man With Unregistered Handgun A man was found with an unregistered handgun during a police traffic stop in Upland, Delaware County, authorities said. Officers found a Smith & Wesson .380 caliber handgun when they stopped Michael Johnson, 29, of Linwood in the area of the 1400 block of Kerlin Street on Sunday, Upland Borough police said. UK Driver's BAC Was Nearly 3X Times Legal Limit In Head-On Bucks Crash That Injured Four A Philadelphia driver who caused a head-on crash in Bucks County is facing additional charges after test results showed his blood alcohol content was nearly three times the legal limit at the time of the crash, authorities said. Longtime Springfield School District Employee, Catherine M. Jenkins Dies, 67 Catherine M. Jenkins of Springfield died on April 6. She was 67-years-old. Born in Philadelphia, Jenkins worked with special needs children for 13 years as part of her employment with the Springfield School District in Delaware County, according to her obituary. Jenkins' obituary remembered her as someone who "enjoyed gardening, singing, reading, summers at the beach, and spending time with her grandchildren." 23-Year-Old Allentown Man Facing Charges After Stabbing Another Man During Bicycle Dispute A 23-year-old Allentown man was charged after he stabbed another man during a bicycle dispute Thursday, authorities said. DA: Inmate Sentenced For Smuggling Drugs Into Bucks County Jail With Help From Son, Officer An inmate was sentenced Thursday for his involvement in a drug-smuggling ring inside the Bucks County Jail in which eight other men, including his son and a corrections officer, were accomplices, authorities announced. Berks DA: Officer Justified In Deadly Police Shooting Of 62-Year-Old Muhlenberg Twp. Man A nearly month-long investigation determined that a Muhlenberg Township police officer was justified in their use of force in a shooting that left a 62-year-old man dead, authorities announced.
