Man Wanted For Robbery In Reading Leads Police On Pursuit Through Route 222, Crashes Car A man wanted by police for a robbery in Reading lead officers on a pursuit last week through Route 222 and crashed his car into a median, leaving his passenger injured in an attempt to flee from police, authorities said. Off-Duty Hoboken Officer Arrests Man For Burglary After Hearing Woman Scream For Help An off-duty Hoboken officer arrested a man on burglary and assault charges last weekend after he heard a woman screaming and ordered a man to stop, authorities said. Fire Crews Battle Weekend Car Fire, Collison, On Route 422 In Montgomery County Fire crews battled a car fire and collision over the weekend on Route 422 in Montgomery County. Firefighters arrived on the scene to find a car bursting with flames on the shoulder of the westbound side Sunday night, according to the Royersford Fire Company. Royersford and Black Rock fire crews blocked one lane of the highway as the fire was extinguished, authorities said. As crews were clearing the scene, a car crash was reported on the eastbound side, authorities said. The cars in the collision sustained minor damage, authorities said. Feasterville Man Sent Harassing Messages, Drove Around Neighborhood With Weapon, Police Say A Feasterville man was arrested after police say he sent harassing messages to a victim and drove around their neighborhood several times with a weapon. The victim told police that Dean E. Toothman Jr., 30, was the man harassing them, which resulted in police issuing an arrest warrant on March 21, according to the Central Bucks Regional Police Department. Toothman was taken into custody on April 2, where he was charged with stalking and harassment, police said. Toothman was arraigned with a bail amount set at $25,000 and was subsequently remanded to Bucks County Prison.

Body Found On Schuylkill River May Be Career Criminal Chad Blackston, Reports Say Authorities have identified the body found along the banks of the Schuylkill River as that of 49-year-old Chad Blackston, of Hamburg. Blackston's lifeless body was discovered around 11 a.m. Sunday off Hill Drive in Tilden Township, according to WFMZ. It was not immediately clear if this was the same Chad Blackston who in 2014 fled to the Schuylkill River while running from police, on accusations he robbed a cab driver.
