A 26-year-old Bridgeton man was arrested and charged after he pulled out a firearm during a dispute at an LA Fitness parking lot in Washington Township, authorities announced Friday, Aug. 15.
On Friday, Aug. 1 at 8:06 p.m., an off-duty New Jersey State Trooper reported seeing a man, later identified as Jacob Vanaman, and a woman arguing near parked cars, Washington Township police said. The trooper then observed the man pull a handgun and point it at the woman, Washington Township police said.

A 19-year-old Pleasantville man was arrested and charged after he made threats while brandishing a firearm on Wednesday, Aug. 13, authorities said.
At 11 a.m., officers responded to a report of a man, later identified as Javont Bell-Lowe making threats at the Dollar General at 600 South New Road, Pleasantville police said.
