Woman Found Dead On South Boston Beach ID'd By Police; Investigators Narrow Cause of Death A woman whose body was found on Carson Beach in South Boston Monday morning, Oct. 16, has been identified as a 29-year-old woman.  Megan Anderson, whose last permanent address was in Las Vegas, was found on the beach near Day Boulevard just before 7 a.m., Massachusetts State Police said. She may have been homeless.  A preliminary examination showed no indication of trauma on her body, police said. The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner will release the cause of death.

Rollaway Risk Prompts Recall Of Over 230K Ford Explorers Ford is recalling 238,000 of one of its best-selling SUVs over concerns that a defect could increase the chance of more crashes, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration announced.   The recall is for 2020-2022 Ford Explorers. A rear axle mounting bolt is at risk of breaking and could cause the driveshaft to disconnect, the NHTSA said.
