Gaithersburg Motorcyclist Killed After Slamming Into Turning Car Near I-270 Ramp, Police Say A 25-year-old Maryland motorcyclist died after his bike slammed into the back of a turning car near an I-270 ramp over the weekend, according to investigators. The crash happened around 9:45 p.m. on Saturday, May 16, in Gaithersburg. Montgomery County Police say Roger Gustavo Pineda Cardona was riding a green 2008 Kawasaki EX250 eastbound on West Diamond Avenue when the motorcycle collided with the rear of a black 2022 Toyota Camry.
