Power Lines Fall On Vehicle In Ossining, Cause Road Closure Part of a busy road is shut down as a result of a fallen tree and power lines that landed on top of a vehicle in Northern Westchester.  Upper Croton Avenue (Route 133) between Mohawk Road and Seneca Road in Ossining is closed on Thursday morning, March 7 after a small tree and power lines fell on the roadway, Ossining Police announced just before 10:30 a.m.  The power lines landed on top of a vehicle. Crash Scatters Debris On Route 9 In Croton-On-Hudson A one-car crash briefly impacted morning traffic on a busy route in Northern Westchester.  The incident happened on Tuesday, March 5 at around 9:45 a.m., when a car slammed into a guardrail in Route 9 in Croton-on-Hudson just north of the Croton River Bridge, according to the village's fire department. Although the crash was initially reported as a rollover, arriving crews found that this was not the case and quickly began cleaning up debris while controlling traffic.  The driver declined any medical attention, the department said.

Over $800K Scheme: Stamford Man Gets Prison Time For Stealing From Family Trust A 69-year-old Connecticut man will spend time in prison for stealing over $800,000 from his relatives' family trust that he administered, officials announced.  Fairfield County resident Curtis Solsvig of Stamford was sentenced on Tuesday, March 5 to 18 months in prison for his wire fraud scheme, the US Attorney's Office for the District of Connecticut announced.
