School Opens World's First 'Hologram Studio' For Education In Yonkers A film school in Westchester is making history by opening the first-ever "hologram studio" for educational purposes, officials announced. The grand opening for the world's first-ever hologram studio for youth and education was held on Tuesday, Nov. 28 at the S.I.C. Film School located at 1 Larkin Pl., Yonkers city officials announced. Ramp Between I-287, Sprain Brook Parkway In Elmsford To Close Overnight Motorists are being warned that a busy ramp leading between Interstate 287 and a well-traveled parkway in Westchester will soon be affected by an overnight road closure. The ramp from the northbound Sprain Brook Parkway to westbound Interstate 287 in Elmsford will close between 11 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 11 through 5 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 12, the New York State Department of Transportation announced. Motorists who are affected should use the posted detour as an alternate route, officials said. The closure is to allow for guide rail repairs.

Man Nabbed For Deli Burglary In Mamaroneck: Smashed Front Door Window, Police Say A former Connecticut resident and serial burglar faces more charges after breaking into another deli in Westchester, police announced. Port Chester resident Cesar Salazar-Duque, age 36, was arrested on Thursday, Dec. 7 in connection with a burglary that occurred at Sage Deli in Mamaroneck at 392 Palmer Ave., the Village of Mamaroneck Police Department announced. 4 Nabbed After Stealing Over $1.7K Of Clothing From Store In Yorktown: Police Three men and a woman all face grand larceny charges after stealing more than $1,700 worth of merchandise from a Dick's Sporting Goods store in Northern Westchester, police said.
