Person Hospitalized After Car Rollover In Cortlandt A person was sent to a hospital after becoming trapped in a rolled-over car in Northern Westchester.  The incident happened on Friday, Sept. 15 around 7:40 a.m., when firefighters responded to a rolled-over vehicle in a driveway on West Mount Airy Road in Cortlandt.  According to the Croton-on-Hudson Fire Department, arriving crews helped the trapped driver out of the flipped car and brought them into the care of first responders.  One of the car's occupants was then taken to an area hospital for evaluation, while another declined any medical treatment.  New York State…

White Plains HS Grad Returns To US After Years-Long Imprisonment In Iran A man who graduated from a high school in Westchester has been returned to American soil after being detained in Iran for almost eight years. Siamak Namazi, who once lived in Westchester, was returned home to the US along with four other American citizens on Monday, Sept. 18, President Joe Biden announced.  Namazi is a graduate of White Plains High School, according to a report by NBC News.  He had been wrongfully detained in Iran since October 2015, when he was accused of espionage.
