New 'Donut' Shop Opens In Lancaster County On National Doughnut Day National Doughnut Day was a sweet start for W Donuts, which opened in Lancaster County at 9 a.m. on Friday, June 2, 2023. The store, located at 805 Main Street in Akron, was a smashing success selling out in just over 90 minutes. Car Pulled From River In Central PA: Authorities A car was pulled from a river in Central Pennsylvania on Friday, June 2, 2023, authorities say. Manheim Township Fire Rescue worked to pull the submerged sedan from the Conestoga River in Lancaster County. It was pulled from the river near Pleasure Road and East Walnut Street.
