Man On FBI's 'Most Wanted' List Captured In California 15 Years After NJ Robbery Tie-Up: Feds
A man who has been on the FBI's "Most Wanted" list for a 2009 armed robbery of a New Jersey restaurant has been captured in California. Kofi Edwards, 51, was arrested without incident in Sacramento, CA following a tip from the public, the FBI's Newark Central Jersey Safe Streets Task Force announced. FBI Newark had offered up to $10,000 leading to Edward’s arrest and will pay out the reward. Shamika Bodino, a 32-year-old mom from Monmouth County, died at home on Wednesday, July 3, according to her obituary on the Clayton Funeral Home site. Shamika, of Freehold and formerly Toms River and Manchester, earned her master's degree in social work and went on to work as a foster care support clinician at the YMCA of Greater Monmouth County, according to her obituary. A crash took down two lanes of Route 1in Edison during evening rush hour Thursday, July 11. It happened in the northbound lanes just south of Lafayette Avenue. As of 7 p.m., a fire engine and police cars were in the right two lanes of the roadway.

Alcohol Was Factor In Shenandoah River Drowning, Sheriff Says
Support is on the rise for a family of a 37-year-old man who drowned while swimming in the Shenandoah River over the weekend. The Page County Sheriff's Office identified the victim as Melvin Sorto, and said he had been swimming when he became distressed around 4:05 p.m. Sunday, July 7. FBI Arrests Man Accused Of Sucker Punching Elderly Victim Unconscious In Fort Lee: Prosecutor
A 29-year-old New York man has been charged in a Fort Lee shopping mall assault that let a 77-year-old comatose for two months, authorities announced. Efrain Escobar, of the Bronx, had gotten in an argument with the elderly man at Plaza West Mall on Bergen Boulevard just before 7:15 p.m. Monday, April 8, after a minor motor vehicle crash, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella said. Husband Charged In NJ Crash That Killed Wife, Prosecutor Says
Two drivers including the husband of a woman killed were found at fault in the Route 9 crash last month in Old Bridge, authorities said. Benjamin Futerman, 32, of Manalapan, and Wilson Familia, 22, of Old Bridge, have both been charged in the June 2 crash on Route 9 at Ferry Road that left Kristina Godich dead and several others injured, Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone and Old Bridge Police Chief Thomas J. US Marshals Capture Murder Suspect After Months On The Run In Woodbridge, Police Say
A man wanted in a November 2023 murder has been arrested by US Marshals agents on Wednesday, July 10 in Prince William County, authorities announced. Tyus James Terrell, 27, had been wanted since Nov. 14, 2023 in the murder of Quatrail Raynard Smalls, 26, of Big Stone Gap, county police previously said. Terrell was arrested by the US Marshals Fugitive Task Force in the area of Dale Blvd and Neabsco Mills Road in Woodbridge, police said. He was charged with murder, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and held without bond.
