Man Hospitalized After Easter Stabbing In Mount Vernon: Police Investigating A man was hospitalized following an early morning stabbing near an intersection in Westchester, officials said. Alert Issued For Missing 55-Year-Old Last Seen In Yonkers Authorities are asking for the public's help in finding a man who has been missing for nearly a month and was last seen in Westchester.  Darin O'Rourke, age 55, was last seen in Yonkers on Saturday, March 2 in the area of 117 Mansion Ave., Yonkers Police announced on Friday, March 29. O'Rourke, described as 5-foot-7 and 180 pounds, may need medical attention, police said. Lane Closures: Traffic On Route 9A In Mount Pleasant, Briarcliff Manor To Be Affected Motorists traveling in Northern Westchester are being warned to watch out for a series of upcoming lane closures on a busy main route.  One lane in both directions of Route 9A will close between Pleasantville Road in Mount Pleasant and Chappaqua Road in Briarcliff Manor on both Tuesday, April 2, and Wednesday, April 3, the New York State Department of Transportation announced.  Officials said the closures will last between 9:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. on both days and will allow crews to perform guide rail repairs.

Smoke Sighting Prompts Emergency Response At Shopping Center In Somers Fire crews responded to a busy shopping center in Northern Westchester after receiving reports of smoke pouring from the building's roof. The incident happened on Wednesday, March 27 just after 7 p.m., when crews from the Somers Volunteer Fire Department responded to the Towne Centre At Somers shopping mall for reports of smoke coming from the roof.  Arriving crews soon found that they could not find any smoke or fire outside or within the building.  After searching for around 40 minutes, the department eventually deemed the reports of smoke to be "good intent."
