Lane Closures To Snag Traffic On Taconic State Parkway In Yorktown: Here's When An upcoming lane reduction will soon affect traffic for motorists who travel on a busy parkway in Northern Westchester.  Two lanes of the northbound Taconic State Parkway in Yorktown between Exit 11 (Route 134) and Exit 13 (Underhill Avenue) will close on Wednesday, Jan. 3, and Thursday, Jan. 4, according to the New York State Department of Transportation.  The closures will last between 9:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. each day, officials said, adding that the lane reduction will allow for bridge repairs.

Driver Rushed To Trauma Center After Crashing Into Ravine In Shelton A driver was seriously injured after losing control of their vehicle on a highway on-ramp and crashing into a ravine in Connecticut, fire officials said. The crash happened in Fairfield County on Sunday, Dec. 31 just before 11:15 p.m., when a car left the Route 8 northbound Exit 13 on-ramp and plunged into a ravine 300 feet away from the roadway, according to the Shelton Fire Department.
