Ossining Police Department Names Interim Leader After Chief's Retirement Weeks after their longtime chief announced his retirement, a police department in Northern Westchester has sworn in his interim replacement.  On Wednesday night, Dec. 20, the Ossining Police Department swore in Captain Brendan Donohue as interim Chief of Police, the department announced.  Donohue takes over for former Chief Kevin Sylvester, who announced his retirement on Thursday, Dec. 7 after more than two decades with the department. Cameron Bly, a senior at Fox Lane High School in Bedford, won the principal cellist seat at the All-State Orchestra Winter Conference held in Rochester by the New York State School Music Association, Bedford Central School District officials announced on Wednesday, Dec. 6.  This win officially names Bly as the top-ranking cellist in the state of New York, according to the district.
