Flooding Impacts Mount Pleasant School District's Buses: All Students Must Be Picked Up As a result of severe flooding, a Northern Westchester school district's bus fleet will be unable to bring students home, requiring them all to be picked up. According to an announcement by Mount Pleasant Central School District Superintendent Peter Giarrizzo on Friday afternoon, Sept. 29, flooding at the district's bus yard has left all the vehicles unable to leave.  Because of this, all Mount Pleasant students will need to be picked up from school, Giarrizzo said.
