Know Them? Burglary Suspects At Large After Somers Incident, Police Say Authorities are asking for the public's help in finding two suspects who were involved in a Northern Westchester burglary. The two suspects were involved in a burglary that happened in Somers in 2022, New York State Police announced on Tuesday, Sept. 19. Both men were seen operating a 4th generation BMW 3 Series, authorities said. Anyone with any information as to the suspects' identities is asked to call New York State Police at (914) 769-2600 and refer to case number 10940421. This is a developing story. Person Hospitalized After Car Rollover In Cortlandt A person was sent to a hospital after becoming trapped in a rolled-over car in Northern Westchester. The incident happened on Friday, Sept. 15 around 7:40 a.m., when firefighters responded to a rolled-over vehicle in a driveway on West Mount Airy Road in Cortlandt. According to the Croton-on-Hudson Fire Department, arriving crews helped the trapped driver out of the flipped car and brought them into the care of first responders. Mount Vernon Let Raw Sewage Flow In Sewer System, Discharge Into Rivers: Feds A city in Westchester will have to take action after failing to comply with environmental requirements and allowing raw sewage to enter sewers, causing it to be discharged into nearby rivers, federal officials said. White Plains HS Grad Returns To US After Years-Long Imprisonment In Iran A man who graduated from a high school in Westchester has been returned to American soil after being detained in Iran for almost eight years. Siamak Namazi, who once lived in Westchester, was returned home to the US along with four other American citizens on Monday, Sept. 18, President Joe Biden announced. New Update: Missing 21-Year-Old Found Dead After Being Hit By Train In Yonkers, Police Say A family is mourning the loss of a 21-year-old man who was killed by a Metro-North train in Westchester after being reported missing for several days, police said. Man Caught With Crack Cocaine During Traffic Stop In Mount Vernon: Police A 32-year-old man faces drug charges after he was caught with several grams of crack cocaine during a traffic stop in Westchester, police said.
