2 Cruisers Struck By Speeding Vehicle During Pursuit In Briarcliff Manor, Police Say Two police cruisers were struck by a vehicle during a high-speed chase on a busy road in Northern Westchester, authorities said. The incident happened on Wednesday afternoon, April 19 in Briarcliff Manor, when police tried to stop a speeding vehicle on Route 9A northbound. Man Stabbed During Fight In Yonkers: Suspect At Large, Police Say Authorities are working to find a suspect after a man was stabbed in a fight in Westchester, police said. The incident happened on Wednesday, April 19 in Yonkers in the area of 137 Lake Ave., when a 25-year-old man was stabbed in the arm after a dispute with a woman turned violent, according to Yonkers Police Lieutenant Dean Politopoulos. Driver Carefully Removed From Flipped Car After Crash In Katonah Firefighters were tasked with carefully rescuing a driver after a car flipped over during a crash in Northern Westchester. Former Westchester County Association Chairman, Longtime Tarrytown Resident Dies Beloved lawyer Bill Plunkett, who served as chairman of the Westchester County Association and was also an integral part of several other important institutions, has died. Plunkett, a longtime resident of Tarrytown, died on Sunday, April 16 at the age of 82, according to his obituary.
