19-Year-Old Fatally Stabbed In Mount Vernon, Suspect On Loose Police are investigating the death of a 19-year-old man who was fatally stabbed in Westchester County.  The incident happened on Saturday, Feb. 11, around 4 p.m., when police in Mount Vernon learned of a man lying on the ground in the area of North Columbus Avenue (Route 22) and East Lincoln Avenue.  After arriving at the scene, authorities found the victim unresponsive and discovered a single stab wound to his chest.
