Woman Tried Depositing Stolen Check Worth Nearly $600K At Darien Bank, Police Say A woman faces larceny and identity theft charges after she deposited a stolen check worth almost $600,000 into a fraudulent account at a bank in Darien, police said. An arrest warrant for 54-year-old Donna Hurley of New York City on charges related to bank forgery was served on Wednesday, Feb. 8 by a Darien police officer at Stamford Superior Court, according to Sergeant Dan Skoumbros. Lane Closures To Affect Hutchinson River Parkway In Harrison For More Than Month A scheduled lane closure will affect traffic on the Hutchinson River Parkway in Westchester County for over a month. One lane of the southbound Hutchinson River Parkway between Exit 14 (Route 127) in Harrison and Exit 13 (Mamaroneck Avenue) in Scarsdale will close on weekdays beginning on Wednesday, Feb. 15, according to the New York Department of Transportation. The closure will last between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. on weekdays through Friday, March 24. The lane closure is to facilitate construction work.

Person Hospitalized After Being Struck By Car In Peekskill A person was hospitalized after being hit by a car in Northern Westchester. The incident happened on Monday, Feb. 13 around 3:15 p.m., when police in Peekskill responded to the intersection of Hudson Avenue and Depew Street, where a car had hit the pedestrian, Lieutenant Adam Renwick said. 23-Year-Old Stabbing Victim Helps Police Nab Suspect In New Rochelle A man from Westchester County faces assault charges after allegedly stabbing a 23-year-old victim, police said.
