Crack Cocaine Dealer In Hudson Valley Nabbed With Help Of K-9 Officer: Police An alleged crack cocaine dealer in the Hudson Valley has been taken into custody after authorities searched his home, police said. On Friday, Jan. 27, the Dutchess County Drug Task Force executed a search warrant at a home in Poughkeepsie on Virginia Avenue with the help of a K-9 Unit, the task force announced. The search yielded enough evidence to place the resident, identified as 39-year-old James Jenkins, under arrest on drug charges. Moving Company Employee Stole Watch From Darien Home, Police Say A moving company employee from Bridgeport is charged with stealing a watch from a woman's Darien home and then pawning it, police said. The original incident happened on Monday, July 25, 2022, when a group of movers was helping a designer lift furniture at the victim's home in Darien. The watch was then reported stolen on Wednesday, Aug. 17, 2022, by the victim, according to Darien Police Sgt. Dan Skoumbros. Car Slips Into Lake In Pound Ridge Amid Icy, Flooded Conditions A vehicle had to be pulled out of a lake in Northern Westchester after falling into it in the midst of icy and flooded conditions. Cat Burglar: Suspect Stole From Shelton Hotel Room, Still On Loose Police are looking for a suspect who burglarized a hotel room in Shelton and walked away with a cat and several other stolen items. The burglary happened on Sunday, Jan. 22 at an unspecified hotel in Shelton when an unknown suspect was able to enter a room without forcing entry, according to Shelton Police.
