The sale of a newly-built two-family home is breaking real estate records in Hackensack.
On Monday, Oct. 21, the 2,900-square-foot property at 308 Anderson St. sold for $1.3 million, the highest price yet for a multi-family residence in the city, real estate records show. Tiffany Leape, an award-winning realtor from Blueline Realty, represented the seller. The home was built by Technocraft Construction LLC.

Support is on the rise for the family of a victim who died days after being struck by a vehicle while crossing a road in Malaga, authorities said.
Elishama Louis, 20, died from her injuries on Monday, Oct. 14, five days after being struck on Delsea Drive near the Riggins and Wawa gas stations, police in Franklin Township said.
Louis was hospitalized and placed on life support for several days before she was declared brain dead by doctors, her family said on a GoFundMe campaign.

Most Expensive Homes Sold In Morris County In Last 30 Days
A $2.74 million house tops the list of most expensive homes sold in Morris County in the last 30 days, according to Zillow.
According to Redfin, home prices were up 10.8% compared to last year, in September 2024, selling for a median price of $665,000. On average, homes in Morris County sold after 20 days on the market compared to 21 days last year, Redfin said.
The most expensive homes sold were:
