The Colonial School District in Plymouth Meeting has announced a temporary closure for Monday, Jan. 3, following the death of a school staff member on Sunday, the news outlet reports citing a letter sent out to families. Woman Walking On Sidewalk Critical After Being Hit By Speeding Car In Montgomery County A pedestrian was hospitalized in critical condition after being struck by a speeding driver in Lower Moreland, police said. Officers were called around 12:15 p.m. Wednesday to the 3100 block of Philmont Avenue, Lower Moreland police said in a Thursday news release. Woman Found Dead In Harrisburg: Police A woman was found dead Tuesday in Harrisburg, authorities said. Officers were called around 8:30 p.m. to South 10th and Mulberry Streets on a report of a dead woman, Harrisburg police said in a Wednesday release. 'Person In Crisis' Rescued From Ledge Of 8th Street Bridge: Allentown Police Police in Lehigh County rescued a man apparently standing on the outer ledge of an Allentown bridge Thursday morning, authorities said. I-83 Driver Missing After Crash, Police Say Police in Dauphin County are looking for a driver they say went missing following a crash on I-83. Stephen Salazar, 61, has not been seen or heard from since his involvement in a crash on northbound I-83 near the 2nd Street exit on December 23 around 5:30 p.m., Lower Paxton Township police said.
