A woman with a suspended license and a child in her car crashed while drunk and high in Lower Allen Township, police announced in a release on Monday, June 2.
Ashley Elaine Barker, 34, was behind the wheel of a red 2011 Honda Fit when she crashed at the intersection of Lisburn Road and Slate Hill Road around 4:30 p.m. on Sunday, March 3, according to Lower Allen Township Police. Officers say she had been tailgating, driving aggressively, and cut off another car before hitting a curb, flying into the grass, and striking a tree stump.

Olympic gold medalist Mary Lou Retton was arrested for DUI at the Pennsylvania border, authorities in Marion County, West Virginia announced on Tuesday, May 27.
Retton, 57, was pulled over near the state line on Saturday, May 17, 2025, and allegedly showed signs of impairment, according to arrest records. Troopers say she refused a blood alcohol test and had an open bottle of wine inside the vehicle.

A Wrightsville man had a blood alcohol content twice the legal limit when he was pulled over for an illegal left turn and erratic driving, Lititz police announced in a release on Tuesday, May 20.
Steven Michael Webb Jr., 35, was stopped around 10:50 p.m. on Friday, May 16, after officers saw his Chevy pickup turn left from North Lane onto North Broad Street — a maneuver banned by two posted signs, according to the Lititz Borough Police Department.
