A Jeep rear-ended a horse-and-buggy on White Oak Road in Strasburg Township, Lancaster County, on Tuesday, Aug. 26, at 8:35 a.m., Pennsylvania State Police announced on Monday, Sept. 8.
Troopers said the Jeep Grand Cherokee, driven by Eric Rebman, 54, of Quarryville, was traveling west behind a large truck when the truck passed an Amish buggy ahead of it and the Jeep struck the buggy from behind on White Oak Road, Strasburg Township, at 8:35 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 26.

A 73-year-old Beltsville man killed in a Labor Day crash has been identified as Martin Anyangwe, a retired engineer, former French teacher, and beloved father of three, police said.
Prince George’s County Police said officers were called at around 9:55 p.m. Monday, Sept. 1, to Powder Mill Road near Cherry Hill Road for a single-vehicle crash.
At the scene, officers found Anyangwe suffering from traumatic injuries. He was pronounced dead at the scene by first responders, officials said.

The family of a 15-year-old boy fatally struck on the Southern State Parkway says his Long Island school is to blame.
Christopher Williams, of St. Albans, Queens, was hit around 1:15 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 4, on the eastbound side of the parkway near Exit 13, according to New York State Police.
The boy was rushed to Franklin General Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
