New details released by Pennsylvania State Police on Monday, Aug. 25, revealed that 27-year-old Jaliel Ali-Johnson escaped from custody during a prison transport before crashing a stolen vehicle into a truck and fleeing into the woods in Delaware County on Tuesday, Aug. 19. At approximately 2:33 p.m., Pennsylvania State Constables reported that Ali-Johnson escaped from their vehicle while being transported to Delaware County Prison at Route 1 and Stoney Bank Road. A man was caught with more than 65 grams of crack cocaine after being pulled over on the Taconic State Parkway in Dutchess County, police said. The incident happened in LaGrange on Tuesday, Aug. 19, around 3:45 p.m., when troopers stopped a 2025 Honda Accord traveling in the northbound lanes, New York State Police announced on Thursday, Aug. 21.
