Ramp Between Cross County, Hutchinson River Parkways In Mount Vernon To Close: Here's When Motorists are being warned that a ramp between two busy parkways in Westchester will be affected by upcoming closures.  The ramp from the eastbound Cross County Parkway to Exit 9 (southbound Hutchinson River Parkway) in Mount Vernon will close between 11 p.m. and 5 a.m. on both Monday, Jan. 22, and Wednesday, Jan. 24, the New York State Department of Transportation announced.  Motorists traveling in the area are asked to use the posted detour as an alternative route.  The closure will allow crews to perform guide rail repairs, officials said.

Driver Injured In Crash On Busy Road In Millwood A driver was injured after crashing into an embankment alongside a busy Northern Westchester road.  The incident happened on Friday, Jan. 19 just before 7 p.m., when a vehicle crashed into an embankment next to Route 100 in Millwood, according to the Millwood Fire Department.  Fire crews and police soon arrived at the scene and found that the driver had suffered cuts to their face. 2 People Injured In Head-On Crash In Hudson Valley Two people were injured in a head-on collision in the Hudson Valley that left two cars severely damaged.  The incident happened in Putnam County on Friday, Jan. 19 around 2:45 p.m., when two cars collided on Crane Road (Route 32) in the area of Fini Drive in Carmel, according to the Mahopac Volunteer Fire Department.  Two people were taken to a hospital after the crash by first responders, firefighters said.
