The arrest stemmed from an incident on Friday, June 23 just after 7 p.m., when Yorktown Police responded to a single-car crash on Barger Street and found that a vehicle had driven off the road, the department said. Lane Closure: Route 9A To Be Affected For Months In Mount Pleasant An upcoming lane closure is set to affect traffic on a stretch of a busy state route in Northern Westchester for several months. A single lane of State Route 9A in both directions in Mount Pleasant between Beverly Road and Old Saw Mill River Road will close beginning on Wednesday, July 5 at 11:59 p.m., according to the New York State Department of Transportation. The closure will last through Thursday, Nov. 30. The reason for the extended lane closures is to allow for a widening of the roadway, officials said.
