Man Charged With Approaching Children Walking To School In Port Chester A 31-year-old man faces charges after approaching children walking to an elementary school in Westchester, police said. The arrest stemmed from a complaint made to Port Chester Police by the John F. Kennedy Elementary School administration detailing that an unknown man had been approaching schoolchildren on Olivia Street. Putnam County resident Daniel Bruno of Mahopac died on Thursday, June 22 at the age of 53, according to his obituary.
