Lane Closure: Taconic State Parkway In Mount Pleasant To Be Affected An upcoming lane closure will soon slow down traffic on a busy parkway in Westchester, officials said. One lane on the southbound Taconic State Parkway in Mount Pleasant between Lakeview Avenue and Cleveland Street is scheduled to close on Monday, May 15 between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m., according to the New York State Department of Transportation. US Presidential Scholar: Byram Hills HS Senior Gets Top Honor A high school senior from Northern Westchester has received one of the nation's highest honors for students. Byram Hills High School senior Samantha Milewicz of Armonk is one of only 161 students nationwide to be selected as a US Presidential Scholar, school district officials announced on Friday, May 12. 24-Year-Old Drunk Driver Crashes Into Pole In Yorktown, Police Say A drunk driver was caught and sent to the hospital after crashing into a telephone pole in Northern Westchester, police said.
