Repeat Offender: Drunk Driver Caught On I-287 In Harrison, Police Say A drunk driver with previous convictions faces more charges after he was caught parked on the side of a highway in Westchester County while intoxicated, police said. The incident happened on Sunday, Feb. 19 around 2 a.m., when state troopers in Harrison found a vehicle that was illegally parked on the shoulder of Interstate 287, according to state police. After troopers made contact with the driver, 38-year-old Jose Flex Orozco of White Plains, they found him to be intoxicated. He was then taken to police headquarters, where his blood alcohol content was found to be 0.15%. …

Norwalk Man Trafficked Narcotics, Guns: Nabbed After Year-Long Investigation, Police Say A Norwalk man is charged with illegally trafficking drugs and firearms out of his home, police said. Norwalk resident Tylon Dubose, age 28, was arrested on Wednesday, Feb. 22 as the result of a long-term investigation that focused on the illegal sale of narcotics and firearms from his home at 16 Ivy Place over the course of a year, according to Norwalk Police. Lane Closures To Last Months On Route 9A In Mount Pleasant Commuters who regularly travel on a busy roadway in Northern Westchester will soon have to endure lane closures for several months. Beginning on Monday, Feb. 27 at midnight, one lane in both directions of Route 9A in Mount Pleasant between Beverly Road and Old Saw Mill River Road will close, according to an announcement by the New York Department of Transportation. Drivers will have to deal with the closures until Sunday, June 18, officials said. The lane closures are to allow for construction work.

Teen Charged With Stabbing Victim In Neck In West Hartford, Causing Serious Injuries: Police A 16-year-old faces attempted murder charges after allegedly stabbing a victim in the neck in West Hartford, police said. The stabbing happened on Monday, Feb. 20 around 9 p.m., when West Hartford Police responded to a residence on Federal Street where the incident took place.
