2 Hospitalized After Fast-Moving Apartment Fire Breaks Out In Yonkers: Developing Authorities are warning commuters to stay away from an area in Westchester County because of an active apartment fire. The fast-moving blaze erupted on Thursday evening, Jan. 19 in Yonkers at an apartment building on Mulberry Street, according to an announcement by Yonkers Police from around 5:20 p.m. Because of the fire, police are advising drivers to stay away from Ashburton Avenue between Yonkers Avenue and North Broadway to avoid heavy traffic. 3 Juveniles Throw Rocks, Smash Windshields Of Moving Cars In Greenburgh: Police Three juveniles are facing felony charges after throwing rocks at moving cars on a Westchester County parkway. Beginning around 9 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 17, state police received 16 complaints of damaged vehicles after rocks were thrown at them in Greenburgh on the Sprain Brook Parkway at Payne Street. 'Emotional Encounter': Would-Be Suicide Attempt Ends In Hug In New Haven A heartfelt moment was shared when a New Haven police officer was able to stop a man from jumping off a bridge. 1-Car Crash Shuts Down Hudson Valley Road A road in the Hudson Valley was briefly closed after a vehicle slammed into trees and a small dirt hill. The crash happened in Mahopac Falls on Wednesday, Jan. 18 around 3:30 p.m. on Secor Road, according to the Mahopac Falls Volunteer Fire Department. The road was shut down for a short period of time while the damaged vehicle was towed away and medics tended to the driver.
